Marcio Laureano

Marcio Laureano has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Marcio has held various roles in different companies, showcasing their expertise and career growth. Starting in 1996, Marcio worked at Aker Solutions, initially as a Designer for Subsea Trees, and later progressing to roles such as Applications Engineer and Vice President of Subsea Systems. In 2009, they moved to GE Oil & Gas, where they served as a Project Director and then as the Subsea Production Systems Regional Manager for the Americas. In 2015, Marcio joined Baker Hughes, taking on the position of General Manager for Flexible Pipe Systems. Marcio later became the Vice President of Surface Pressure Control, Projects, and then the North America Subsea Director. Marcio's most recent position, starting in March 2023, is as the Vice President of Operations at Wabtec Corporation.

Marcio Laureano holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Field & Well Management from Robert Gordon University. Marcio also possesses a Mechanical Technologist Diploma in Mecanica from the Federal University of Technology - Parana.
