Rodrigo Martins is an experienced executive with a diverse range of roles in various companies. Their work experience includes positions such as Group VP and General Manager at Wabtec Corporation, where they oversaw global freight components, as well as the role of Global CFO for the Freight Components & Industrial division. Prior to this, they served as Managing Director at RPM Capital Investment. Rodrigo's experience also includes leadership positions at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., where they served as President & CEO of the Latin America Group and later as President & CEO of the Global Emerging Markets division. Rodrigo has also served as a member of the Board of Directors at Federação das Indústrias do Estado de São Paulo - FIESP. Before their time at Stanley Black & Decker, Rodrigo worked at GE in various roles, including President & CEO of the GE Lighting Latin America Division, CFO of GE Brazil, CFO of GE Energy Latin America, General Manager of the Asia Pacific division in the Global Business Services Division, and Global CFO for Business Services. Prior to their time at GE, they worked at Pearson Education as Chief Financial & Operations Officer for Latin America and also held positions at Unilever as Financial Planning & Analysis Manager for Latin America. Rodrigo began their career at KPMG Brazil, where they worked as an Audit Manager.
Rodrigo Martins has a Master of Science degree in Strategic Management from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. Rodrigo also holds an MBA in International Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management, acquired from 1998 to 1999. Rodrigo earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo from 1991 to 1995 and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universidade Paulista in 1996 and 1997. Additionally, they have completed various certifications, including Certified Board of Directors Member from IBGC - Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa in 2015, CMA - Certified Management Accountant from the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants in 2004, and CRC - Brazilian equivalent to CPA from the Conselho Regional de Contabilidade do Estado de São Paulo (CRCSP) in 1997. Rodrigo has also pursued specialized programs in finance, corporate governance, and digital marketing strategy from various institutions. Their commitment to continuing education can be observed as they are expected to complete a certificate in Persuasion and Executive Communication from MIT Professional Education in 2023 and 2024.
