Susana Hawken

Susana Hawken is the head of product and co-founder at Waeve. Susana has over 20 years of experience in the biotech industry and academia.

Susana started their career as a biochemistry researcher at Yale University. After a few years in research, they transitioned into the role of director of entrepreneurship at the MIT Biotech Group. In this role, they planned and led initiatives to bridge academia and the biotech industry in the Greater Boston Area.

Most recently, Susana has taken on the role of head of product and co-founder at Waeve. In this role, they are responsible for leading the product development team and working with customers to create innovative products that solve real-world problems.

Susana Hawken earned their doctorate in computational biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Susana also holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Williams College. As a junior, they attended the University of Oxford.
