Aaron Bothner

Aaron Bothner has a diverse work experience in various industries. Aaron began their career as a Corps Member with Teach For America, where they worked as an instructional coach for first- and second-year teachers. Aaron also served as a Corps Member Advisor, supporting incoming teachers during their summer training program.

Following their time at Teach For America, Aaron worked as a Campus Director for Citizen Schools, overseeing a middle school and leading a committee that significantly improved student grades. From there, they joined KRAMER aerotek as a Management Consultant, where they conducted research and co-authored a report on airport customer service.

Aaron then transitioned into the real estate industry, starting as a Summer Investments Associate at AvalonBay Communities, where they supported the Investments Group in acquisitions, dispositions, and redevelopment. Aaron later interned as an MBA Associate at StoneBeck Capital, a commercial real estate debt fund.

At Wafra Investment Advisory Group, Aaron worked as an Acquisitions Analyst and then as a Senior Associate, specializing in real estate acquisitions. Aaron eventually moved to Wafra Inc. as Vice President - Real Estate Acquisitions, taking on a leadership role in the company.

Throughout their career, Aaron has demonstrated strong analytical and financial modeling skills, as well as the ability to develop complex financial models. Aaron is experienced in working with diverse teams and managing client relationships.

Aaron Bothner attended the University of Colorado from 2004 to 2009, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Psychology. Subsequently, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Master of Science in Education (MS Ed.) with a focus on Urban Education and Leadership at the University of Pennsylvania. Later on, Aaron enrolled in the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Real Estate between 2014 and 2016.
