Trent Mitton OLY is a Project Officer at the Western Australian Institute of Sport since January 2023, focusing on driving athlete performance and enhancing organizational efficiency. As the Director of Brace For Innovation since January 2019, Trent oversees the distribution of the EXO-L ankle brace, utilizing advanced 3D scanning and printing technology. With a distinguished career as a Professional Athlete with Hockey Australia from 2010 to 2021, including participation in the Tokyo 2021 Olympics, Trent has also served as a Developing Champions co-facilitator at WAIS, aiding in the personal and athlete development of emerging athletes. Previous roles include Community Development Officer at the Western Australian Cricket Association and a Physical Education Assistant at Chisholm Catholic College, where Trent began a sporting traineeship through AFL SportsReady. Education includes a high school degree from Leeming Senior High School.
