Collette Wasielewski has 17 years of experience in the Design and Advertising Industry. Collette began their career in 2003 as a Graphic Designer at Enterprise IG, and then moved to Grid Worldwide in 2006, where they worked as a Designer and later as Creative Director. In 2012, they joined FCB Joburg as an Executive Creative Director, Creative Director, and Head of Design. In 2020, they began working as a Founding Partner at SPAIA: Society of People Against the Insect Apocalypse, Communications Manager at JM International (JMI), and Creative Partner at PlayState. In 2022, they will become Creative Director at OWWN. During their career, they have worked on and learned from brands such as Virgin Mobile, Coca-Cola, Converse, Toyota, Vodacom, Guarantee Trust Bank Nigeria, South African Tourism, and Brand South Africa. Collette has been awarded at Cannes, the One Show, D&AD, as well as the Ciclope Film Festival and the One Screen Film Festival.

Collette Wasielewski has a Master of Business Administration in Creative Leadership from the Berlin School of Creative Leadership, which they are expected to receive in 2022. Collette also holds a B-Tech in Graphic Design from Wits Technikon, which they earned in 2002. Prior to that, they completed a National Diploma in Graphic Design from Pretoria Technikon in 2001.
