Alicia Arnold, MPA, currently serves as the Deputy Housing Director at Wake County, overseeing departmental administration and operational functions since August 2014. Previously, Alicia held leadership positions including Director of Equitable Housing & Community Development Division, where efforts led to a historic $15 million investment that tripled affordable housing production, and Director of Housing and Transportation Division, managing 74 employees and coordinating a comprehensive affordable housing plan. Alicia’s career began at the Town of Grifton, progressing through roles such as Assistant Town Clerk & Tax Collector and Budget Analyst for the City of Raleigh, with early experience as a Field Training Officer at East Carolina University. Alicia holds a Master of Public Administration in Public Administration/Security Studies and dual Bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice and Philosophy from East Carolina University.
