Tony Hymel

Tony Hymel, CISSP, currently serves as a Network Security Solutions Engineer at New Era Technology since August 2024, and as a Security Engineer for Wake County since March 2022. In the role at Wake County, Tony manages Crowdstrike to oversee firewalls for over 4,000 hosts, addresses hardware and software issues, and leads firewall management for county government offices while ensuring compliance with security policies. Prior experience includes a position as a Security Operations Engineer at ADT Cybersecurity, where Tony installed and managed firewalls and developed custom security alerts through SIEM systems. Earlier roles involve IT service management at Advanced Home Care, technical support at Apple, and advanced technical support at Time Warner Cable.
