Andrea McKinnond

Andrea McKinnond, MMS, PA-C, currently serves as the Director of Clinical Education at Wake Forest Department of PA Studies, overseeing clinical schedules and supporting second-year students while ensuring compliance with ARC standards. Additionally, Andrea holds the position of Assistant Professor at Wake Forest School of Medicine and has extensive experience as a Surgical Physician Assistant in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Cancer at Wake Forest Baptist Health. Previous roles include positions as an ophthalmic assistant, vision therapist, and optometry technician, alongside a foundational education in biology and optometry, culminating in a Master's degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Currently, Andrea is pursuing an Executive Doctorate of Public Health Leadership at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
