Samantha Rinkus

Samantha Rinkus currently serves as the Digital and Recruiting Content Manager at Wake Forest University, a position held since July 2022. Prior to this role, Samantha was the Assistant Director of Athletics Communications at American University from October 2016 to June 2022, managing media relations for several women's sports programs. Samantha’s early career includes serving as the Sports Information/Media Relations Director for Cross Country and Track & Field at the University of Missouri from August 2012 to June 2016, as well as working as a Freelance Writer and Student Writer at Aquinas College. Additional experience includes a role as a Contributing Writer for Patch.com and an internship at Revue. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from Aquinas College and a Master of Journalism in Strategic Communication from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
