Cathy Collins is currently the assistant to the VP at Wake Technical Community College. Cathy has previously worked as an ESL teacher, a high school mathematics teacher, and an adjunct mathematics instructor. Cathy began their career as a middle school teacher in 1995.
Collins has a passion for education and helping others learn. Cathy enjoys working with students of all ages and levels of abilities. Cathy is excited to be a part of Wake Tech and looks forward to helping the college grow and serve its community.
Cathy Collins holds a Master's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching in Mathematics from The University of Alabama, and a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching in Mathematics from Jacksonville State University.
Cathy Collins reports to Laurie Clowers, VP, Communications & Marketing. They are on a team with Clarissa Epps - Graphic Designer, Natalie Heath - Director of Marketing, and Matthew Burns - Digital Content Manager.
