Carmen Baldino has over 25 years of experience in the life sciences industry. Carmen began their career in 1995 as Vice President at ArQule. Carmen then moved on to become Vice President at BioDuro, Inc. in 2005 and Vice President of Chemistry at Anthill Technologies, Inc. in 2007. In 2009, they became President at Jasco Pharmaceuticals, LLC. From 2016 to 2019, they were Vice President of Life Sciences R&D at The Warner Babcock Institute for Green Chemistry. Most recently, they have been Senior Director of Chemistry at Walden Biosciences, Inc., where they have been focused on developing novel therapies for treating renal diseases since 2019. Carmen will be taking on the role of Vice President of Chemistry at Walden Biosciences in 2022.
Carmen Baldino has a long educational history in the field of chemistry. Carmen completed a B.S. in Chemistry from Southern Connecticut State University in 1987. Carmen then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Purdue University, which they completed in 1993. Following this, they completed a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Chemistry at Yale University in 1995.
