Lena Menefee-Cook

Lena Menefee-Cook is an experienced arts administrator and teaching artist currently serving as Department Administrator and Department Coordinator for Visual Arts at Walker Art Center since September 2022. Previously, Lena held the position of Student Services Coordinator II at Iowa State University and worked as a Guest Artist at the William Inge Theatre Festival. Additional roles include Assistant Puppet Builder and Puppeteer for The Art of Climate Planning Touring Exhibit, and various positions within Iowa State University, including Visual Arts Digital Exhibit Coordinator and Theater Instructor at STORY THEATER COMPANY. Lena holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art & Design, Performing Arts, and International Studies from Iowa State University.
