Jude Rake

Jude Rake has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Jude has held various leadership roles in prominent companies in the consumer goods and marketing industry.

Jude's career started at The Clorox Company, where they held brand management roles and successfully improved business results and market share for the Formula 409 and Clorox Bleach brands. Jude then moved on to Pepsi Cola International, where they served as a Marketing Director and was responsible for upgrading regional business plans across various regions.

Later, Jude joined SC Johnson Wax, where they held the position of Business Vice President and took on other Marketing Leadership Roles. During their tenure, they achieved significant increases in sales, profit, and market share by implementing strategies such as accelerating innovation, upgrading marketing programs, and acquiring competitive brands.

Jude then joined Kodak Consumer Imaging as the COO and CMO for North America, where they played a key role in stabilizing the stock price by launching new products and reducing costs. Jude later joined Fellowes as the President & COO and CMO, where they reversed declining profitability by refocusing the company on consumer needs and implementing streamlined processes.

In 2006, Jude took on the role of CEO at Papyrus-Recycled Greetings and successfully led a rapid turnaround and restructuring of the company. Jude navigated the sale of the company to American Greetings in 2009.

Jude's next significant role was as the President & CEO of ETA hand2mind. Jude was hired to improve sales and profits after years of decline. Jude developed and deployed a new strategic plan focused on growth, innovation, and improved marketing support. Under their leadership, the company achieved a 29% increase in sales and returned to profitability.

Jude also served as an Independent Board Director at Wall Family Enterprise, Inc., and as an Advisory Board Member at The Visual Pak Companies.

Currently, Jude is the Founder & CEO of JDR Growth Partners, where they continue to utilize their expertise and experience to drive growth and success in businesses.

Jude Rake obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in Psychology from Purdue University, where they studied from 1977 to 1981. Jude then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing & Finance at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 1985 to 1986. Additionally, they acquired a Certification in Governing Family Enterprises from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Jude Rake also holds a Professional Engineer certification (not active) from the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers - CE. Jude has also completed a Leadership Development Program at the Center for Creative Leadership, although the specific dates of completion are not provided.
