Ilan Laufer

Ilan Laufer has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Ilan began in 2010 as a Team Leader for Career and Pensioners Salaries Regulation at the Israel Defense Forces. In 2013, they moved on to become a Senior Analyst at the Israeli Ministry of Defense, specifically in the Financial Planning and Analysis Department. Starting in 2016, Ilan became the Head of Professional Practice at Invest In Israel, Ministry of Economy, and held this position until 2018. In 2018, they transitioned to become the Director of Finance at Walla! NEWS. Most recently, in 2020, Ilan assumed the role of Head of FP&A and VP Finance at Nextage TLV.

Ilan Laufer completed their education in the following chronological order:

From 2012 to 2014, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Financial Mathematics at Bar-Ilan University.

Prior to that, from 2005 to 2009, they attended the University of Haifa where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Accounting, with a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

In terms of additional certifications, in April 2018, they obtained a certification in International Tax Law from Leiden University through the online platform Coursera.
