René E. Showalter is currently the Sr. Manager of Fleet Service Optimization at Walmart, where they focus on sustainable fleet maintenance and engineering. Previously, René served as a Talent Acquisition Partner for the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and held various roles in talent acquisition at Walmart, Weatherford, and Lucas Group. They co-founded Eco-Fence Labs, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to addressing food shortages and energy dependence, and have a strong educational background with multiple degrees from West Virginia University, including an Executive M.B.A. and studies in biology, political science, and business administration.
