Sagit Malkes

Sagit Malkes is the current Vice President of People & Operations at Walnut. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Global Employee Experience and Operations at Similarweb from September 2021 to January 2022. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring a close connection between employees’ physical, social and cultural environments, as well as the tools and relationships they need to get work done on a daily basis.

Previously, Malkes served as the Director of Global Employee Experience and Operations at Similarweb from July 2018 to September 2021. In this role, they were responsible for the day to day operations of all global offices, administration team, employees morale programs and travel. Sagit also headed and managed the global operations of properties in different locations (Israel, London, New York, San Francisco, Sydney, Tokyo).

Malkes has a proven track record of driving positive employee engagement and productivity through increased levels of personalization, simplification, authenticity and organizational responsiveness. Sagit is also experienced in budgeting and finance transactions related to areas of responsibility. Malkes collaborates closely with functions such as marketing, procurement and IT, as well as leadership from line executives.

Sagit Malkes has a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Bar-Ilan University. Sagit also has a Marketing Management degree from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
