Alexandre Rocco

Alexandre Rocco's work experience begins with their role as a System Analyst at VirtualNet in 2002. Alexandre then worked as a System Analyst at Banco Santos, developing applications for intranet and internet websites. After that, they worked as a System Analyst at Euro RSCG 4D and later as an Application Architect at Meta Informática.

In 2007, Rocco joined ZAP as an Application Architect, where they played a significant role in defining product architecture and development patterns. Alexandre also worked on the redesign of a search engine using Apache Solr and Fast ESP. Alexandre held various roles at ZAP, including Lead Systems Architect and Architecture Manager, leading the architecture team and working on the integration of legacy services with a cloud-based portal architecture.

Rocco then moved to Grupo ZAP Viva Real as an Engineering Manager before joining CI&T as an Architecture Manager. Alexandre later worked as an Advertising Solutions Manager at Grupo Globo - Mídia e Conteúdo.

In 2020, Rocco joined Nubank as a Tech Manager, initially leading the security engineering team and later taking over as the leader of the registration team. Alexandre focused on optimizing the registration process for new clients and consistently improved the customer registration flow.

Recently, Rocco joined Walrus Health as an Engineering Manager, where they lead a diverse engineering team and focuses on expanding the Brazilian team. Alexandre also contributes to improving the cloud infrastructure and development methodology while implementing new processes for the engineering team and company.

Alexandre Rocco completed their bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Faculdades Associadas de São Paulo. Alexandre attended the institution from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Alexandre also obtained several certifications, including "Avoiding Burnout," "Leading in Uncertain Times," and "Managing Skills for Remote Leaders" from LinkedIn in March 2021. Alexandre also acquired a certification in "Blockchain for Business - An Introduction to Hyperledger Technologies" from edX in October 2017.
