Abhijit Shah

Abhijit Shah has led Walter P Moore’s office in Pune, India since 2011. With a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Pune, Abhijit earned his Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University. He began his career as a graduate structural engineer in the Dallas office in 1999 and soon built a reputation as a skilled project manager across a broad spectrum of structural types. In 2011, he returned to his native Pune to establish a permanent office for Walter P Moore. Under his energetic leadership, this office has grown to over 50 professionals in three disciplines. Clients in both India and the U.S. appreciate Abhijit’s ability to bridge the cultural differences between the countries. He has imbued a strong service ethic and team culture in his team in Pune, helping that team become an integral component of Walter P Moore’s overall global services capabilities.
