Adria Smith

Adria Smith has extensive experience in music education and performance, currently serving as the Music Teacher and Head of Department at Marblehead Community Charter Public School since February 2001, along with the role of Music Director. Smith also instructs the Waltham Rock Band as a summer position, focusing on ensemble conduction and vocal coaching. A Jazz Pianist since July 1996, Smith has held positions as a Music Instructor at Beverly Music Academy until September 2023 and previously at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Salem State University. Smith's educational background includes ongoing studies in Music Composition at Berklee College of Music and a degree in Music Education from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, complemented by a Professional Teaching Certification.
