Amy Saltzman

Amy Saltzman is a Senior Program Officer at the Walton Family Foundation, where responsibilities include overseeing grantmaking for the Mississippi River strategy aimed at improving water quality. Prior to this role, Amy served as a Senior Program Analyst at HarvestPlus and the International Food Policy Research Institute, managing interdisciplinary agriculture and nutrition programs and overseeing technical publications. Previous experience includes working as a Project Administrator at the U.S. Department of State, where research and communications were focused on multilateral human rights participation, as well as serving as a Fulbright Fellow at Bunda College of Agriculture, conducting research on crop diversification. Amy also coordinated policy campaigns at the Rural Coalition related to the 2008 farm bill and has a BA in Government and Development Sociology from Cornell University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver.
