Evy Valencia

Evy Valencia is a seasoned professional with significant experience in education policy and nonprofit leadership. As a Senior Program Officer at the Walton Family Foundation since March 2022, Evy has been instrumental in advancing the foundation's mission. Previously, Evy served as Chief of Staff at 50CAN from June 2019 to June 2021, after a role as a National Fellow there in 2018. Evy's background includes a Fellowship at the Gates Family Foundation and serving as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of John W. Hickenlooper for the State of Colorado. Early career experience includes positions as Government Affairs Manager and Organizer with Stand for Children.
