Investment Professional at Warburg Pincus

Cole Hancock began their work experience in 2016 as an Assistant Tennis Coach at the Normandy Pool and Tennis Center. In the same year, they interned with WorldDenver, focusing on the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program. In 2016, they also served as a Commissioner on the Colorado Suicide Prevention Commission, working to address the high rate of suicide in Colorado through public-private partnerships.

In 2018, Hancock became a Campus Ambassador for Guayaki Sustainable Rainforest Products, Inc.

In 2019, they worked as a Finance Praktikant in the Infrastructure Funds division of Allianz Global Investors in Munich, Germany. Cole then became an Undergraduate Student Researcher at The Wharton School, conducting research in Kenya and the Western U.S.

In 2020, Hancock was a Summer Analyst in the Investment Banking Division, TMT Group, at Goldman Sachs. Cole also co-founded and co-led the Wharton Undergraduate AgriBusiness Club, the first undergraduate Agribusiness Club in the Ivy League, providing educational speaker events and conducting consulting projects and research with agribusiness companies and start-ups.

Starting in 2021, Hancock joined Warburg Pincus LLC as an Investment Professional.

Cole Hancock attended Heritage High School from 2013 to 2017 and earned a High School Diploma. After that, they enrolled at The Wharton School from 2017 to 2021. At The Wharton School, Cole pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Studies. In 2019, they also participated in a Study Abroad Semester at Goethe University Frankfurt. In terms of additional certifications, Cole obtained "Understanding Capital Markets" from LinkedIn in May 2020, "Excel for Corporate Finance Professionals" from LinkedIn in February 2019, and "Bloomberg Market Concepts" from Bloomberg LP in January 2019.
