Matthew Wood

Matthew Wood has over 20 years of work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Matthew began their career in 1997 as a Project Manager - Systems Integration Coordinator for InterAmerica Technologies. In 1999, they became a Supervisor and Technical Operations Engineer for Digex. In 2006, they moved to Dell Technologies as a Senior System Engineer. In 2010, they joined Engility Corporation Formerly TASC as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer. In 2015, they were a Senior Principal Analyst, Information Security for General Dynamics Information Technology. Matthew then moved to Perspecta in 2016 as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer. Currently, they are a Senior Security Engineer and Program Manager for WarCollar Industries, LLC.

Matthew Wood has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity from George Mason University. Matthew also holds numerous certifications, including CHFI Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator Certification, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Network Defense Architect (CNDA), CompTIA Security+, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), ITIL Foundation Level, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Enterprise Support Technician, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Security (MCSE), and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS).
