Lauren Parr

Lauren Parr has extensive work experience in the field of HR and workforce development. Lauren currently serves as a Logistics HR Lead at The Warehouse Group since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Skills Programme Specialist for Auckland Unlimited from July 2019 to March 2021. Lauren also served as a Member of the Review of Vocational Education, Workforce Development Council Design Reference Group at Tertiary Education Commission from March 2020 to December 2020. Before that, they held roles such as HR Manager and HR Business Partner at Viridian Glass NZ from January 2019 to July 2019 and from February 2016 to December 2018 respectively. Lauren also worked as a National HR Advisor at CSR Limited from May 2014 to February 2016. Additionally, Lauren has experience in recruitment, having worked as a Recruitment Representative at AA Insurance NZ for a short-term contract and as an HR Advisor at OMD New Zealand. Lauren started their career as an HR Coordinator at Fletcher Distribution Ltd and then as a Human Resource Administrator at Westpac Banking Group NZ.

Lauren Parr completed a Te Pōkaitahi Reo Māori (Te Kaupae 2) degree in Māori Language at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa in 2022. Prior to that, they attended Auckland University of Technology from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a degree in Business with a focus on Human Resources, Employment Relations, and Management. Their secondary education was done at Rangitoto College, although the specific degree or field of study is unknown. Additionally, Lauren obtained certifications in Dare to Lead Training, HBDI Certification, Duolingo Spanish Fluency at the Intermediate level, Ability and Personality Assessment, and Job Evaluation.
