Matthew Hanmer

Matthew Hanmer is currently a Board Member at Warwick Business School. Matthew has previously worked as the Head of Channels & Strategic Alliances at Barclaycard and as Senior Manager - Affinities & Alliances at Citibank.

Hanmer began their career in 1999 at Citibank, where they worked for three years in the Affinities & Alliances department. Matthew then moved to Barclaycard, where they spent two years as Head of Channels & Strategic Alliances. In 2005, they joined the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, where they have worked for the past fifteen years.

Hanmer has a wealth of experience in the financial services industry, and their work has been recognised with several awards. In particular, they were named head of the Year by Financial Services Marketing magazine in 2002, and they were also awarded the prestigious Silver Arrow award by American Express in 2004.

Matthew Hanmer has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School and a Master of Arts - MA in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the University of Oxford.
