Field Marketing Manager at Wasabi Technologies

Mayuko Yoshitome has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 1997 as a Basis Consultant at SAP Japan Co. Ltd. Mayuko was responsible for various SAP consulting services, designing and implementing customer-specific programs, and serving as an instructor for the SAP Japan ABAP partner academy. Mayuko then took on the role of Product Marketing Specialist, where they created technical proposal documents, established and localized global marketing plans, and served as a liaison between global and internal marketing teams.

In 2001, Mayuko became a Software Alliance Manager at SAP Japan, responsible for the positioning and communication of SAP's Global Software Partner Program. Mayuko also spoke at internal and external events, ensured partner presence at global marketing events, and created sponsorship programs for SAPPHIRE Tokyo. Mayuko later became an ISV Business Development Manager, focusing on partner recruitment and building win-win relationships in the Enterprise SOA area using SAP's technology platform. Mayuko managed operations and content for SAP TechEd, collaborating with global teams.

Mayuko joined Microsoft Co., Ltd. as a Partner Programs Manager in 2007, where they worked until 2009. Mayuko then moved to VMware as a Partner Marketing Manager, creating joint marketing plans with distributors and Tier 1 resellers, executing SMB market strategies, and maintaining regular communication with partners through newsletters and partner portals.

Since 2016, Mayuko has been working at Pure Storage as a Field Marketing Manager, overseeing marketing activities and strategies in the field. In 2023, they joined Wasabi Technologies in the same role.

Mayuko Yoshitome attended Aoyama Gakuin University from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Economics.
