Janita “Jj” Jones

JJ Jones has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Janita “JJ” has worked as the Director of Special Events at the Washington County Chamber of Commerce since 2023. Before that, they were the Assistant Track Coach at Benson Polytechnic High School, where they organized the first track meet invitational in school history and provided support to student athletes. From 2017, JJ owned and operated JJT Studios, where they held content creation summer camps for kids and produced various events. Prior to that, they worked as a Personal Trainer and Event Support at VillaSport Athletic Club and Spa, where they created popular fitness classes and assisted with facility events. As an Assistant Track and Field Coach at Jesuit High School from 2012 to 2016, JJ helped organize and coach successful track events and teams. Janita “JJ” also has experience in the media industry, having worked as a Morning Show Host and Promotions Director at Bicoastal Media LLC and as a Promotions Coordinator and On-Air Host at Radio One. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Community Spokesperson for the Philadelphia Phillies and as an On Air Personality at Beasley Broadcast Group. JJ also served as a Program Director, Music Director, and On Air Host at Citadel Communications, where they managed various aspects of the station's operations and facilitated artist/celebrity appearances. Overall, JJ has a strong background in event planning, coaching, content creation, and radio broadcasting.

Janita “JJ” Jones attended Temple University from 2009 to 2010, where they studied Journalism. Prior to that, they attended the University of Nevada, Reno from 1999 to 2003, focusing on Speech & Communication.
