Laura Boisvert

Laura Boisvert is Senior Vice President Operations, WGL. In this role, Ms. Boisvert will oversee all operations, engineering, construction, and project execution across the WGL Utility business.

Ms. Boisvert is an experienced energy executive with more than 25 years in leadership roles with three large energy companies. She draws on a broad range of past experiences including leading engineering and construction organizations as well as finance, technology innovation and customer care teams. Ms. Boisvert brings a passion for achieving safety excellence and is a strong advocate for improving the customers’ experience. She has been a leader of multiple initiatives that promote and advance employee and workforce development, all while fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.

Prior to joining WGL, Ms. Boisvert served as an enterprise Vice President at Duke Energy, where she improved the customers’ experience and led multiple teams in the areas of operational excellence, technology support and innovation, finance and customer service. Before her role at Duke Energy, Ms. Boisvert served as Regional Vice President, Progress Energy, where she was responsible for engineering, construction and maintenance in the company’s fastest growing region in Florida.

Ms. Boisvert holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Florida. She also has completed ongoing executive education courses at Penn State University, the University of Virginia, and Duke University.
