Kristin Villas Mpa

Kristin Villas, MPA, currently serves as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Washington Health Benefit Exchange since December 2021. Prior to this role, Kristin worked as a Contract Writer at Kaiser Permanente from May 2018 to June 2021, where responsibilities included managing large group health plan contracts and drafting Medicare Annual Notices of Coverage. Kristin also held the position of Senior Policy Analyst at the Washington State Health Care Authority from October 2016 to May 2018, focusing on accountable care organization issues, member communication improvements, and legislative assessments. Additional experience includes a student consultancy role for the Pacific Hospital Preservation and Development Authority and a health policy internship with the Washington State Board of Health. Kristin holds a Master of Public Administration in Health Policy from the University of Washington, along with a Certificate in Data Analytics, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Seattle University, complemented by a high school diploma from the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts.
