Jen Picardo

Jen Picardo has a diverse range of work experience, spanning various roles in the sports industry. Jen began their career in 2008 as a Public Relations and Sponsorship Intern at Sports Impact Ltd., where they focused on increasing awareness of sporting events. In 2009, they worked as a Marketing and Event Operations Intern at Hoop Mountain Inc/Zero Gravity Basketball, where they were responsible for designing promotional materials and organizing events.

In 2010, Jen served as a Fundraising and Events Intern at Wick Athletic Association, where they spearheaded a giving program and assisted with organizing a wine auction and reception. Jen then moved on to the Trenton Thunder Baseball Club, AA Affiliate of the New York Yankees, where they held roles as a Merchandise Assistant and later as a Business Development Executive. In these positions, they managed ticket accounts, generated new sales revenue, and represented the team at networking events.

Jen's experience with baseball continued at the Washington Nationals, where they held multiple roles. Jen started as an Inside Sales Representative, bringing in significant sales revenue and providing customer support. Jen then transitioned to accounting roles, working their way up from Junior Accountant to Associate Accountant, Staff Accountant, Financial Accounting Analyst, and finally Senior Accountant. In these positions, they analyzed financial data, managed expenses, audited payroll, and oversaw expense management systems.
