Dennis Mell

Dennis Mell is a Professor of Practice in Engineering Systems Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, where Dennis has served since January 2012, also holding the position of Director of the Engineering Discovery Competition. Prior experience includes leadership roles such as President of CAMTech, Inc., a startup focused on custom industrial automation, and Vice President of Manufacturing at Pasco, Inc., specializing in automatic packaging equipment. Additionally, Dennis has held the position of President at Cupples Products, Inc., an architectural curtain-wall manufacturer, and served as an Engineering Consultant at Custom Technologies. Early career experience includes roles as Vice President of Manufacturing at C & R Products, Inc., and as an Engineer in Test Engineering at NCR - E & M Ithaca. Dennis holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, both from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
