Jessica Cissell

Jessica Cissell, MA, MBA, currently serves as Assistant Provost and Director of Graduate Programming at Washington University in St. Louis, a position held since October 2011. Over their tenure, Cissell has held various roles in the Office of the Provost, including Director of Academic Initiatives and Chief of Staff for the University Libraries. Prior experience includes performing as a vocalist with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and teaching applied voice lessons as an adjunct professor at East Central College. Cissell has also worked in administrative roles at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP and New York University, where Jessica served as a voice instructor. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, a Master's degree in Music from New York University, and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Webster University.
