Scott Stoermer

Scott Stoermer, PMP, currently serves as Senior Emergency Management Program Manager at Washington University in St. Louis since September 2024. Previously, Scott was the Managing Director of Readiness and Response at Ambipar Response | Witt O'Brien's from February 2021 to March 2024, overseeing disaster preparedness and emergency response for public sector clients. Scott also held roles as an Adjunct Professor of Emergency Management at Saint Louis University and as Operations Manager at Amazon. From May 1996 to August 2020, Scott served in various leadership positions within the U.S. Coast Guard, culminating in the role of Sector Commander. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine and Environmental Science from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, a Master of Public Administration from American Military University, and a Master of Science in Oceanography from the University of Rhode Island, along with a certificate in Law Enforcement and Corporate Security Leadership from Saint Louis University.
