Edward S.

Edward S. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several roles and industries. In 1993, they began their career as a Plant Manager at Caraustar, where they managed the operation of a clay-coated boxboard mill. Edward then moved on to One Source Recycling in 2000, where they served as an Operations Manager responsible for the operation of three local recycling facilities. During their time there, they designed and installed recycling lines at customer locations and internal plants.

In 2012, Edward took on the role of Director of Operations at Universal Recycling Technologies, LLC. Edward managed four end-of-life electronics recycling facilities nationwide and implemented changes that significantly improved facility profitability. Edward later became the General Manager at the same company, overseeing the safety, environmental aspects, sales, operations, transportation, and maintenance of an automated electronics recycling facility processing over 30M pounds annually.

Edward's career continued at WestRock Company, formerly RockTenn Company, where they served as a General Manager. Edward was responsible for an industrial recycling facility processing over 100,000 tons annually and managed a team of professionals and employees. Edward's most recent role before their current one was as a Consultant, providing business development and manufacturing operations support to clients. Edward cultivated a customer base, conducted successful product trials, and assisted in developing manufacturing processes.

Currently, Edward S. works as a Partner at 10X Engineered Materials and as the Director of Engineering at Waste Hub, an environmental service organization focused on finding high-value uses for production byproducts.

Edward S. completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (Paper) from Western Michigan University between the years 1989 and 1993. Edward then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2000 to 2002.
