Lauren Saunders has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Lauren started their career as a Medical Records Clerk at the Souza Baranowski Correctional Center in 2006 and later worked as an Administrative Assistant at MHM Services, Inc. from 2008 to 2012. In 2012, they transitioned to become an Activity Therapist at the same company.
In 2014, Lauren joined LUK, Inc. as the Gardner Community Action Team Coordinator, where they stayed until 2015. Lauren then took up the role of Program Coordinator MA Opioid Abuse Prevention Collaborative - Fitchburg, Athol, Gardner, Leominster at LUK Inc. from 2015 to 2016.
From 2016 to 2019, Lauren worked at the City of Gardner, MA as an Assistant Director of Public Health. Lauren was later promoted to the position of Director of Public Health and served in that role until 2023.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Lauren Saunders has acquired several certifications.
