Scott McManus has over 20 years of experience in the marketing and creative industry. In 1996, they began their career as a Graphic Designer for Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK. Scott then worked as a Manager of Creative Development for Johnson Controls from 1997 to 2001. After that, they were a Creative Director for Monster.com from 2001 to 2005. In 2005, they started working as a Sr Art Director for i33 communications. From 2006 to 2013, they worked as a Sr. Director, Online Acquisition Marketing for Iconic Labs, LLC. During this time, they accelerated back-end retention rates by +10%, increased SEM Google conversion levels by 38%, increased ARPU by 45%, and achieved a 50% and 40% increase in front-end conversions and RPV respectively. From 2013 to 2014, they were the VP Performance Marketing for AngelRush, where they coordinated in-house and remote teams of Engineers, Developers, Designers, and Copywriters. Scott also leveraged proprietary analytics tools and processes to lower CAC as well as increase ROAS (return on ad spend). From 2014 to 2018, they were the Co-Founder of Path Theory, a metrics-driven marketing agency. Lastly, from 2018 to present, they have been the Chief Marketing Officer for Watch Gang, where they direct and coordinates day-to-day activities of marketing, engineering, customer solutions, media, creative, and product departments. Scott also orchestrates all facets of the development and implementation of long-term integrated marketing strategies across multiple channels.
