Georgi Dimitrov

Georgi Dimitrov currently serves as the Assistant Principal Viola for the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra since April 2023 and works as a Bulgarian-English Translator for Watching America since June 2020. Prior experience includes an Adjunct Instructor position at the University of Southern California from September 2017 to May 2020 and educational tenure as a student at various institutions. Georgi Dimitrov earned a Doctor of Musical Arts in Music Theory and Composition, Viola Performance, and Conducting from the University of Southern California (2014-2018), a Master's degree in Composition from the same university (2012-2014), a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theory and Composition from the California Institute of the Arts (2008-2012), and a High School Diploma in Music from Walnut Hill School for the Arts (2005-2008).
