As vice president of human resources, Elizabeth Hiott is responsible for developing and executing strategies to recruit and train staff and provide rewarding career paths. She leads a team actively working to cultivate a workforce and work culture that honors God and helps Water Mission achieve its goals.
Before joining Water Mission as volunteer coordinator in 2015, Mrs. Hiott worked in the luxury travel industry and served as a luxury travel manager for Belmond. She transitioned to Water Mission’s human resources team in 2018, assumed the director role in 2019, and became vice president in 2022.
She graduated from the College of Charleston with bachelor’s degrees in business administration and hospitality and tourism management. She also has extensive volunteer experience, having served as a class instructor and mentor through Jobs for Life.
