Awani Gajjar

Awani Gajjar is an experienced civil engineer currently working as a Dam Safety Engineer at WaterNSW since June 2021, contributing to the Dam Safety and Engineering Team and also serving as a Project Manager in the Specialist Studies, Dam Engineering Delivery Team. Prior to this role, Awani worked at CPB Contractors from July 2016 to May 2021 as a Tunneling Engineer involved in major projects such as the NSW Tender Team for the M6 Stage 1 Tender and the Westconnex Stage 2 New M5 Project. Awani's earlier experience includes serving as a Tunneling Site Engineer at Thiess, where responsibilities included work on the Sydney Metro Northwest Project and participation in the NSW Tender Team for estimation. Awani's engineering career began with roles as an Undergraduate Engineer at Thiess and Merhis Constructions. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from UNSW and a Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics from the Melbourne Institute of Technology.
