Andres Rubio

Andres Rubio has a diverse and extensive background in finance and accounting. Andres is currently working as the Director of International Finance at Water.org since February 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Manager of International Finance Operations at Water.org from March 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining Water.org, Andres worked at Brightstar Corp. from 2014 to 2020, where they served as the Finance Director from July 2017 to June 2020 and as an International Finance Manager from February 2014 to July 2017.

Andres also gained experience as a Senior Accountant at Turner Broadcasting from May 2013 to February 2014.

Earlier in their career, Andres held various roles including Equity and Compensation Accountant at Cardlytics, Inc. from August 2012 to March 2013, and Accounting positions at Sony Mobile Communications from July 2011 to August 2012.

Furthermore, they served as a Finance Manager at Cisneros Group of Companies B.S.P. Division (Oracle Partner) from January 2010 to September 2010, and as an Accounting Supervisor and Senior Accountant at Gran Colombia Gold Corp. from July 2006 to October 2009.

Andres'scareer started at Oracle as an AP Analyst from June 2005 to July 2006 and at Rusoro Mining as an Accounting Analyst from May 2004 to July 2005.

Andres Rubio attended Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacín where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 2003. Andres then pursued further education at Universidad Metropolitana (VE) and completed a Master of Science degree in International Finance in 2008.
