Bakary Ouattara has a diverse work experience in the IT field. From 2010 to the present, they have worked at WaterAid, initially as an IT Consultant for Ethical IT from March 2010 to December 2013. Bakary then transitioned into the role of IT Support Officer & Security Focal Point from January 2014 to November 2018. Currently, they hold the position of IT & Development Systems Officer at WaterAid. Before joining WaterAid, Bakary worked as an ICT Assistant at Plan Burkina from December 2009 to February 2010. Overall, Bakary's professional background showcases their expertise and progressive career growth in IT.

Bakary Ouattara has a diverse education history spanning different institutions and fields of study. In 2004, they attended Ecole Supérieur d'Informatique/Université Polytechnique de Bobo-Dioulasso (ESI/UPB) where they obtained a BTS et Licence in Réseaux et Maintenance Informatiques, Télécommunications. Bakary continued their education at Institut Burkinabè des Arts et Métiers/Université de Ouagadougou (IBAM/UO) from 2007 to 2009, earning a Maitrise degree in Génie Logiciel, Base de Données.

In 2014, Bakary pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in International Business (MBA-IB) at Amity University in Uttar Pradesh, Noida, India. Bakary completed this program in 2016. Subsequently, in 2018 and 2019, they attended the National Advanced School of Engineering, University of Yaounde I, where they earned a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Information and Communication Systems Security.

Bakary Ouattara has also obtained several additional certifications. In 2015, they received the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN. Bakary further enhanced their professional qualifications in 2020, obtaining the Project Management for Development Professional (PMD Pro) Level 1 certification from APMG International. Additionally, they participated in the NetHope Global Summit 2020 organized by NetHope and obtained a certification for this event.

In pursuit of continuous professional development, Bakary Ouattara has also enrolled in a Diploma in Project Management program at the Académie Canadienne de Management de Technologie, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
