Minu Ahmed has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors. In 2021, Ahmed joined WaterAid as the Regional Learning and Strategic Support Manager for South Asia. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2021, Ahmed worked at Save the Children in Bangladesh, first as the Manager of Communications and later as the Manager of Reporting, Documentation, and Communication. From 2015 to 2017, Ahmed worked at BRAC as a Senior Sector Specialist and Sector Specialist in the Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Program. Before that, Ahmed was self-employed as an Independent Consultant from 2008 to 2015. Additionally, Ahmed gained experience in business development as an Executive at SOS Solutions in 2011 and as an AIESEC Intern at Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces in 2010.

Minu Ahmed completed their Master's Degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Liberal Arts, Bangladesh, from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and International Business from North South University, graduating in 2011. Minu had completed their A levels at Aga Khan School, Dhaka, from 2004 to 2006 and their O levels from the same school from 2002 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Minu Ahmed has obtained several certifications. Minu completed courses such as "Building Efficient and Sustainable Knowledge Management Systems" and "Knowledge Management" from Udemy in March 2023. In February 2022, they obtained "The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing" certification from Google Digital Garage. Previously, in July 2020, they completed courses such as "Learning Graphic Design: Layouts," "Learning Personal Branding," and "Shooting a Photo Essay in 60 Minutes" from LinkedIn. Minu also holds a certificate in Brand Management obtained from IBA, University of Dhaka, in February 2020. Moreover, in March 2016, they completed a training course on Knowledge Management from IMA International. Furthermore, in December 2015, they completed the "Innovative Business Models for Better Impact e-Learning Course" offered by the World Bank Group. Lastly, they obtained a DELF A1 Certificate in French Language from Alliance Française de Dacca in December 2011.
