Rebecca Heald

Rebecca Heald has over a decade of work experience in various editorial roles. Rebecca began their career as an Assistant Editor at Green Kids Publishing in 2009 and later worked as a Music/Arts Reporter at North London Newspapers until 2012. In 2011, they joined Mayhem Theatre Company as a Lead Researcher and Assistant Editor. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at The Lancet, starting as an Editorial Assistant and eventually becoming an Assistant Editor. In 2014, Rebecca joined WaterAid, where they held several roles including Editorial Manager (sabbatical cover), Editor - Policy, Practice and Advocacy, Digital Editor, and their current position as Digital Content Manager. Throughout their career, Rebecca has demonstrated their strong editorial and management skills in the publishing and non-profit sectors.

Rebecca Heald pursued their higher education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of York, from 2004 to 2007. Subsequently, between the years 2008 and 2009, they obtained a Master's degree in Journalism from The University of Sheffield.
