Chris Kinley

Chris Kinley serves as the Head of Laboratory Services at Watercare Laboratory Services since February 2020, overseeing a commercial laboratory with a $20M turnover and leading a team of 130 scientists in advanced water analytics across New Zealand. In addition to this role, Chris has held positions as Head of Laboratory Services and Head of Field Service at Watercare Services Limited since May 2012, where leadership responsibilities included maintenance services for Auckland customers. A recent secondment to the Department of Internal Affairs involved operational leadership within the Affordable Waters Programme. Previous experience includes high-level management roles in Tyco International, Telecom New Zealand, and Telewest Communications, alongside financial and operational roles at London Electricity and Datastream International Limited. Chris Kinley holds an Associate Chartered Management Accountant designation and a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from The University of Huddersfield, and is a member of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand.
