Marisa Gioioso

Marisa Gioioso currently serves as the Global Research Segment Lead for Connected Science at Waters Corporation since May 2019, managing a research portfolio focused on cloud and AI innovations, overseeing projects, and leading a team of machine learning engineers. Prior to this role, Marisa held positions at CiBO Technologies, where leadership as Senior Modeling Lead involved mentoring data scientists and designing predictive models for agricultural ecosystems, and as a Data Scientist creating Bayesian models to reduce yield error. Additional experience includes working as a Research Scientist at Milcord LLC, optimizing logistics through custom algorithms, and contributing as a Sr. Research Associate at Atmospheric and Environmental Research, Inc., delivering solar forecasting products. Marisa's earlier work at ATC-NY involved directing a security enhancement project funded by a major grant. Marisa holds an MA in Mathematics from Boston University and a BS in Mathematics & Engineering Science from Tufts University.
