Junyi Zheng

Junyi Zheng's work experience includes roles at Watershed, cLabs, Environmental Grantmakers Association, UC Berkeley School of Information, Cal Performances, Healthy Planet US, and Advanced Brain Monitoring.

At Watershed, Junyi works in recruiting, focusing on coordination, university recruiting, and sourcing for engineering teams. Watershed is a software startup that helps companies reduce their carbon footprint quickly. Junyi works with ambitious companies such as BlackRock, Walmart, and Shopify.

At cLabs, Junyi also worked in recruiting, from January 2021 to March 2022.

At Environmental Grantmakers Association, Junyi served as an Engagement and Events Program Manager. In this role, Junyi organized conferences focused on environmental philanthropy, justice, activism, and policy. Responsibilities included building event registration websites, managing vendor partnerships, organizing speaker panels, and coordinating event logistics.

Junyi also served as an Administrative Assistant at UC Berkeley School of Information from October 2016 to June 2018, and as an Assistant Office Manager at Cal Performances from March 2016 to June 2018.

Furthermore, Junyi gained experience as an Operations Intern at Healthy Planet US from May 2017 to August 2017, and as a Marketing and Sales Intern at Advanced Brain Monitoring in June 2015.

Junyi Zheng attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental Economics and Policy, with a minor in Sustainable Design. In July 2020, Junyi also obtained a certification in Cvent Event Management from Cvent.
