Tara Seshan

Tara Seshan is the current Head of Product at Watershed. Prior to their current position, they served as the Business Lead for Stripe Treasury from January 2015 to November 2021. There, they were responsible for the product's conception, cross-functional team management, and initial launch. Seshan also served as a Product Manager at Better from August 2013 to January 2015. At Better, they were responsible for the development of the company's CRM tool for nurses and PHAs, as well as the messaging interface, patient education tools, and symptom checker algorithms for the patient app. Under their leadership, the patient app became the #1 medical app in the App Store.

Tara Seshan has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences and Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Tara also has mountaineering and white water rafting experience from Outward Bound Wilderness School.

They are on a team with Alexa Schirtzinger - Head of Marketing, Kristin Thayer - Head of Partnerships, and Carlton McMillan - Head of Finance & Internal Operations. Tara Seshan reports to Taylor Francis, Co-Founder.
