Stacey Eger-Converse is the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction and Chief Diversity Officer at the Watertown City School District. Stacey has previously served as the Principal of Brewerton Elementary in the Central Square Central School District, Supervisor of Program and Professional Development at Jefferson-Lewis BOCES, and an English teacher at Lowville Academy & Central School. Stacey began their career in education as a student teacher at Utica City School District's Proctor High School & John F. Kennedy Middle School before becoming a long-term substitute at Proctor High School. Stacey has also worked as a receptionist/personal assistant at Gerald H. Pitman, M.D. and a psychology teacher at Dominican Academy. In addition to their work in education, Stacey has also served as the Assistant Director of Student Activities for Peer Education & Programming at Fordham University.

Stacey Eger-Converse has a CAS in Educational Administration from State University of New York at Oswego, a MAT in Secondary English Education from SUNY New Paltz, and an M.S.Ed. in Educational Psychology from Fordham University. Stacey also has a B.A. in Communications & Media Studies from Fordham University. Stacey is certified by NYSED in NYS School Building Leader, NYS School District Leader, NYS Coaching Certificate - Cross Country, Basketball, Track & Field, and NYS Teacher Certification, English 7-12.

They are on a team with and Tina Lane - Assistant Superintendent for Personnel & Student Services, Title IX Coordinator. Stacey Eger-Converse reports to Patricia LaBarr, Superintendent.
