Lauren Traviesa's work experience begins in 2003 when they worked as a Freelance Writer for various online and print publications, including Southern Living Magazine and The Gainesville Sun. Lauren also worked as a Reporter/Columnist for The Smoky Mountain Times during this time.

In 2005, they joined Padgett Communications as the Director of Business Development, where they managed key accounts, coordinated projects, and conducted business-to-business sales and contract negotiations. Lauren later took on the role of Project Manager, overseeing technical teams and executing live polling events for clients such as Pepsi, BMW, Microsoft, and Cisco.

From 2012 to 2013, Lauren worked as a Sales Representative for CQ Press, a research and academic publisher. Lauren was responsible for acquiring and retaining customers within state university settings and meeting sales goals.

In 2015, Lauren joined Kelly Services as an Account Manager for Kelly Educational Staffing. Lauren was responsible for recruiting, hiring, and managing substitute teachers and paraprofessionals for schools in the Sumter County school district. Lauren represented the Kelly Services brand and facilitated hiring processes and documentation.

Starting in 2016, Lauren worked at the University of Florida, first as an Associate Director for Industry Relations and then as a System Administrator at the UF Career Connections Center. In these roles, they focused on industry relations and managed systems and resources to support career services.

Most recently, Lauren joined Watson Realty Corp. as a Real Estate Salesperson and Licensed Real Estate Agent in 2018, where they assist clients in buying and selling properties.

Throughout their career, Lauren has gained experience in various industries, including real estate, education staffing, publishing, and journalism.

Lauren Traviesa has a strong educational background in business administration. Lauren attended the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business from 1999 to 2004, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Later, in 2008 and 2009, they pursued their Master's degree in Business Administration at the University of Florida. Their education history demonstrates their dedication to acquiring knowledge and skills in the field of business administration.
